I have a Springfield 1911 too. I seriously think that is a girls gun! I shoot so well with it... a lot better than even a 9mm glock. To me, the recoil seems more manageable, even though the bullet is so much bigger, and I've heard that from other girls too. I hope you're wife is enjoying her shooting
