I saw what I thought were bones when he first walked up, leads me to believe that heap in the middle was dead livestock. That water must be teeming with bacteria..

Yup, mag was empty.

I think he just fired on a empty mag and then he hit it once more to clear it. The AK functioned properly. They may not be pretty but they will take a beating
