How does your MOLLE plate carrier look like

I'm just looking for some ideas. whether for airsoft, class, or deployment. Just found out a friend is working in a distribution for MOLLE gears. got a few mag carrier and holster. cannot seem to fit it properly on the limited real estate on the plate carrier. Plus you cannot put stuff on the diagonally because of MOLLE webbing. So that is 14lb of body armor plus Pistol and magazine. Hats off to those how have to wear it in deployment.

List what you're carrying and why. I can't imagine what would take up so much space that you'd run out of PALS real estate on a plate carrier.

For carbine classes I run my chest rig with three rifle mags and two small utility pouches (one for a camera and one for tools/spares). On my belt I have my pistol, one rifle mag, two pistol mags and a dump pouch.

Also why do you want your pistol on your rig rather than on your belt.

Hmm, how does my plate carrier look. Well, I guess it looks like how it looks depending on what I need to have in order to be able to do what I need to do.

BTW I remember seeing one picture with guy stuffing big mac or coke in his vest?

Also in regarding my I prefer having handgun on a vest, is that everything will come in one package, sidearm, ammo and armor. Just grab your rifle and the vest

Got a cheap vest that has lasted quite well, holds 5 9mm mags, 6 UZI mags, 6 AR mags, drop thigh holster for the .45, shotgun sheath on the back and 20 extra shells. comfy, easy to use and my bob fits over the shotgun but I have to take out the camelback. Use it 'bout once a month in Nevada for mall ninja stuff.

Thats definately not enough space for magazines. I think you need to find another vest.

It may sound convenient but the problem is it doesn't work well in real life. Your pistol is either too high, gets tangled up in your sling, or your rifle gets in the way when you transition to your pistol. You will see some guys in the sandbox with the pistol mounted over their chest but that's because they're mounted and belt/drop-leg holsters don't work well when you're getting in and out of vehicles all day.

I'd stick with the holster on the belt. If you have time to put on your vest you have time to put on a belt.
