leaving bad feedback

How long will some of you wait before leaving bad feedback. I paid for a item about a month ago and not got the item yet. I left him PMs, no response. When would you leave a negative feedback for someone that has not sent a paid for item?

First make a new post in an appropriate forum or add on to the existing thread if it was here, asking what the deal is. Frequently airing the dirty laundry gets results. If that doesn't work, count to 3 or 300 and flame away.

One month, you should not need to ask. When I check a sellers feedback it would be very helpful to know that you waited a month and still have no product. Needless to say I would not buy from such a flakey seller. No excuse unless Tiger Woods has him tied up in his basement.

Contact a Moderator, or post appropriate feedback.

If you are out any money or goods in the deal, negative is proper. If you are only out time, neutral is proper.

Or you could be like the recent rash of people who had a bad deal with a seller or buyer and they "want to warn others" but refuse to post feedback because "they (buyers/sellers from the unscrupulous seller/buyer) should find out the hard way"...

dude 1 month is WAY too long, unless its coming from freakin Dubai.

i frequently ship items for my ebay business and its usually 3 days. a week TOPS.

that guy must have gotten arrested for something and cant respond, or it could be a paypal scammer.

we have those alot on honda-tech. they make fake threads with car parts that dont exist, collect 4 or 5 peoples payments, then dissapear.

you can file a dispute with paypal and get your money back though...

When did we stop? And to the mod that responded, how is being jerked around and having your time wasted "neutral?" What if you are supposed to meet someone for a ppt and they don't show? How can you consider that neutral.

The only problem with leaving negative/neutral ratings is that all the ripoff artist is going to do is respond with a negative one on you and deny everything. Then it becomes a he said versus he said issue as to who is telling the truth. I just had one of these but all I was out was time fortunately and I do not think this person should be on this site but that is up to the moderators. I informed them and if they do not watch him and he rips off someone else for more than just wasted time then it is on them that a honest calgunner got ripped off.

Right but them then leaving bad feedback for you is bad... If someone does not contact you back or avoids you after getting your money something is wrong. Bad feedback is really all you can do.
