I've spent several thousand dollars there with no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend.Comment

I'll chime in with one more story: recently ordered a Howa 1500 varminter from Buds. Did the transfer, checking to see if the right gun was shipped, but did not closely inspect it. When I picked it up 10 days later and got it home, I found the barrel was gouged near the top of the receiver, the bolt was all scratched up and difficult to remove, and the barrel was filthy (not test fire dirty, I mean filthy). Went on Buds site to check their return policy and found that once a firearm is transferred, it is considered 'used' and cannot be returned. Just for the heck of it, I emailed them to let them know what I found and would they consider taking the gun back. Short story long, they agreed to ship a replacement, but I had to pay the shipping to them (they paid to ship the second gun) and I had to pay a second transfer fee with my FFL (new serial #). So yeah, this gun ended up costing me about $100 more than it should have, but I appreciated that Buds was willing to make it good. Dealing with Derek was easy, and he stayed in constant email contact with me through the process. The replacement rifle is a tack driver and I am, in the end, pleased. Verdict? Recommended.Since we're all in the same boat, let's stay in the boat!Comment
