    Grand Canyon range?

Heading out to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon for a week of camping next week. Any spots near there to go shoot some rifles for fun?

I am not sure about South Rim, however, there is a spot down in Williams that is good to shoot at. I can't remmember the name but I am sure the locals will know it. Ask when you get there.

I know this is not very helpful but it's all I can remmember. Good luck!

Don't know about rifles, but a clay bird just sails on and on and on and on and on.......
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......Cicero

Right when yuou take the exit off Interstate 40 on the east end of Williams, about 1/8th of a mile on your left is a outdoor range. It's only open part-time, but that is the only one I know of other than shooting in the national forests to the north.

To the south of town, shooting is restricted when it is not hunting season.

Thanx for the info! I'll keep my eyes peeled just past Williams on the left.
