    Life Sucks Right Now!!!

    $%&%^*&%@#!#!@ I just realised that the CA State Service Rifle Championships are Easter weekend I'd still go but I have a pre-teen daughter as well as 2 grandkids (8 and 4) that rely on me for Easter fun
    and here I was all set to kick butt and get me some more LEG (EIC) points I'd say that that was really crappy planning on the part of the people who set that up at Coalinga.......

    Bring the kids and do easter on the range
    Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
    Let my aim be true and my hand faster
    than those who would seek to destroy me.
    Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
    Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
    And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

      Yea, the "hunt" can be for obscure types of rifle brass!

          Do a combined egg hunt/shoot, or make things really interesting and strap the eggs to a bunny and THEN shoot them.

          Moving eggs would be so much more of a challenge anyway.

            It does seem that you have your priorities correct, but that is a drag.

                Look on the bright side, at least you'll still be in the country.

                99% chance of me being in Taiwan that week for work.

                  If they'd keep Easter the in same week, or at least the same month every year it would be a lot easier to plan around it.

                  There are three steps to calculating the Easter Sunday date:
                  Step 1) Obtain the Paschal Full Moon (PFM) date from Table A
                  Step 2) Add the 3 numbers obtained from Tables B, C and D
                  Step 3) Find the Easter Sunday date from Table E

                  STEP 1STEP 2

                  Add the 3 numbers you obtain from the "result" lines of Tables B, C and D below.

                  For example, the year 2285 gives us a PFM date of M21 in Table A (for years 326 to 2599 A.D.)

                  * M21 gives 2 from Table B
                  * the 22 in 2285 gives 3 from Table C
                  * the 85 in 2285 gives 1 from Table D

                  The total of these results is: 2 + 3 + 1 = 6

                  Table B: PFM Date for year
                  Table C: First 2 digits of year
                  Table D: Last 2 digits of year

                  STEP 3

                  Use the total result from step 2 to find the day of week of the PFM date in Table E, then add the number of days shown to the PFM date to find the Easter Sunday date.

                  For example, year 2285 gave us a PFM date of March 21, and step 2 gave us a total result of 6. Looking at Table E, this 6 shows that this PFM date occurs on a Saturday, so we need to add 1 day to find the next Sunday, which is March 22, the Easter Sunday date for the year 2285 A.D.

                  Table E: Following Sunday
                  I just used the above method to try and figure out when Easter will be next year, and it looks like I'll be getting almost $300 back!

                      There is a lot of open territory in Coalinga for Easter Egg hunts.
                      www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.
