Well, went to look for another job in Vegas this Friday and figured I'd just stay over for the night and hit the gunshow, YEEEHHAAAAA. Place was packed with guns, ammo, toys, etc. (albeit, most overpriced) and started looking for a good deal.
Found an all numbers matching Romy kit for $119 with a brand spankin' new barrel. This thing looks like a mirror inside, and well, I couldn't pass that up as I'd been looking online for one at that price anyway. Saw a semi good deal on a Chinese SKS with a grey Ramline Monte Carlo stock for $195 but couldn't spend the money (damn job thing LOL). Saw some great M48's ($85-$90), Turk mausers ($75), and a beautiful, like new 91/30 ($85) The woman wouldn't sell any of them to me with my C & R after she asked where I was from. She was taking her husband's place and she didn't know the law.
Picked up a few mags for the AR style and AK while I was there and found some parts kits for the standard cap mags I have. No mag bodies or floor plates but lots of springs and followers, cheap LOL.
It was a great time and lots of good people to talk to there. If you're up for driving tomorrow morning, the show opens at 9am and get there a bit early for parking and tickets, there WILL BE a line.
Have a great Kenpo day
