What are the laws for transporting a handgun (in a locked container of course) across state lines. I will be going on a motorcycle trip to Tahoe and out to Reno and don't want to be arrested for trafficking firearms or anything stupid like that.

In Nevada you can have a loaded concealed handgun in your vehicle just not on your person in the vehicle unless you have a CCW. There are no laws against crossing state lines with legally owned firearms.
