    Is it collectable??

I found a vz. 52 rifle (often incorrectly called the "CZ 52"). Almost mint condition (seriously!) with magazine and folding bayonet. Looks to be 100% on both metal and wood finish.

    Problem:

The guy wants $250 for it but try finding ammo for it (7.62X45 vz52 cartridge). I know many had been re-chambered to 7.62X39, but this one hasn't been.

    Is it worth buying?
    Worth re-chambering?
Can ammo be found for it?

Or is it a tomato stake?

Let me know please! It's a REALLY nice rifle.

With a description of 100% wood and metal, it's definitely a good buy at $250. No need to re-chamber it, you just won't be able to find ammo at your local Walmart and will have to search a little more to find it.

as far as collectables; any collectors item is more valuable in it's original form....
