Which magazine parts do you replace?

    Let's hear it.

    Mag follower?
    Mag spring?
    Mag insert?
    Mag floor plate?

Getting some ideas on what most of y'all replace on mags. You can choose more than one.

    Thanks.

I've had to replace mostly followers and springs; those are the two components that go bad.

I have some AR mag bodies where the spot welds are broken, and the mag has more flex than I'd like for it to have. The spring, follower, and baseplate are otherwise ok. I'd have to replace the mag bodies on these, when I get around to it.

Usually floor plates and springs.. I tend to train by dropping the mag and letting it fall. Sometimes the mag body gets tweaked after a bunch of drops

No bodies, just the ones on the list.

Most often it's springs and followers, followed by baseplates. I've only had a few mag bodies that needed replacement, usually due to broken baseplate tabs.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Spring and floorplate to Magpul ranger
