What's the best way to get about 6 Long guns from Oklahoma to Cal. ??

A Good Friend of mine ( O K This is a true story now )
Has a family member on his wifes side ( Aunt ) in Oklahoma

The uncle passed away and he had a nice gun collection
2 Garands and other modern guns
The Aunt has said ( To my friend and his wife ) If you want a few of your Uncles guns you can have them ..

They are thinking of Driving to visit and get them ...
12 hour drive each way
But that's a lot of $$$ in gas and the time off work

What shipper could they use ??
They are worried about the legal part of it
Should they ship each one or one large box ???

Looks to me like it would be a gift. They would have to ship to an ffl and then spend 10 days in lockup. Unless they are C&R and your friend has a C&R?

I have my C + R lic .......... But not my friend


Might be less hassle just to drive and get them / and the ammo

If not, then the only way are for those babies to go to an FFL dealer and spend jail time + cost to DROS.
