    15rd Mags

If you own a Pistol that you bought in 1990 and it came with 15rd mags, are they still legal to have and shoot in your pistol?

If you owned the mags before 12/31/99 then it doesn't matter if you owned the gun or not.
There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

Yes, possession of hi-cap is not illegal. Using pre-ban mags in a pistol or pistol gripped firearm is not illegal to do so. Just make sure you are not using them in a firearm with a mag lock on it. So Uzi, Mac-11 and or a Glock is fine to use a pre-ban mag. Using a pre-ban mag in a tec-9 or skorpion is not allowed. Just be careful, some LEO' or RSO's might tell you different. I have had one guy so far tell me my pre-bans for my G17 were illegal since I was not using them in the original gun they came with.

I have LOTS of 15 rounders for my "wonder-nine" purchased by in the 90's. They are legal to use in that old pistol or a brand new one.

But over the years I've matured, grown wiser and now only shoot a REAL caliber (45 ACP).

I use my 32 rounders in my tec-9 (well its really an AB-10) all the time (of course it is a RAW) Everybody always want to check it out at the range. Best $189 I ever spent at Turners.

Possession and use are not illegal. Acquisition (by importation) and manufacturing are.
