If I had the money or the need I'd be there trying to see how much I can fit in my truck right now. Hmm my mom got a part time job there wonder if I could use her discount.... I think it's time for my weekly phone call to her.

They have so much because most of it is overpriced. 223 at 50 cents a round. 308 at 90 cents a round. Maybe some of the other rifle stuff is priced well. In some cases they have hit a price issue.

Holy crap that is a big ammo cabinet. I think it's been about 2 years since I've seen it that full! Wow. Even if shotgun takes up half the cabinet that is still impressive, stacked deep.

I've noticed lots of rifle ammo at most Walmarts around me including a ton of .223. They've been stocked pretty well for months. You're right about the reason. It's priced WAY too high. For some reason Walmart has GREAT pricing on most pistol ammo, and terrible pricing on most rifle ammo. Who wants to pay 40 or 50 cents per round before tax on .223 and 7.62x39?

Hold on a second. That third cabinet doesn't even count. They locked up their cleaning supplies and targets.

Reminds me of the Palmdale walmart....
