How do I get started on building an AR. I have one now but it has the magazine well sealed off so I have to break in open to load ten rounds. The last time I went to the range, I was told to cease fire and pack up before I depleted the rounds in the gun. This was a huge pain because without a detachable magazine, I have to cycle each round out to unload it. Well, after a nice jam I decided that I would go the the way of using a mag lock and detachable magazine. While I was there, I met Shark92x51 (x=?) and he told me about this site. So, I want to get started. How do I proceed? Where do I order the lower reciever and how? The mag lock? Do I have to have it installed for me? Is there an FFL listing I can use to locate one in my area? What other things have I not considered?
