Moving back to CA and ammo

Hello all. I'm new here. I was born and raised in CA but have lived out of state for awhile now. I may have the opportunity to move back to CA. I like guns and shooting and don't think that finding places to shoot will be too hard neither will acquiring guns as long as I'm patient and they're CA legal.

My biggest question is how much ammo should I acquire while I'm out of state? Is ammo hard to find in CA? Thanks in adavance.

First of all, WHY CA?

Secondly, acquire ALL the ammo you can hoard. Ammo scarcity is happening all over the country, so if you found some then get them all.

Thirdly, if you have any pistols...you must register them within 60 days: Go to the CA DOJ website.

Fourthly, There might be an "off roster" weapon that you may like to own, now is the time.

If I had to choose between ammo and guns, I'd buy guns. There are many guns that are legal to own in Ca that can't be purchased new here. Ammo may be hard to find, but bringing some off roster handguns to Ca might be a better idea.

yes, i would advise you to pick up some ammo.

instead of ammo, I'd get an off roster ammo dispensing unit.

stack it high stack it deep. get as many off roster guns as you can.
