    PPS-43? or PPSH-41?

I've been looking for a rifle in 7.62x25 and I really like the PPSH 41 since it would be much easier for CA compliance, plus my dad has some stick mags for it from the 80s. I was wondering though the PPS-43s that I've seen have the stock welded into the folded position. Does this make it a pistol then? I have seen them advertised as pistols on some sites. So how would I make a PPS-43 CA compliant then?
    Thanks

43 is a pistol in that configuration.

the 41s are neat ones, but I have heard have huge issues with feeding rounds and lots of malfunctions, there arent any with all the bugs worked out.

I was going to get a 41 till I heard that. The 43 interests me just as a WW2 collective item, but the round is low powered, the 'pistol' quite large and overall inaccurate. And without full auto, its like a MAC or UZI, almost pointless. So I'd probably shoot it rarely if at all.

Given that, I might try to see or wait for a 41 or 43 mock up display non-gun just to put on the wall or something for a fraction of the price.

the 43 needs to be on CAs roster I think, since its a pistol. Gotta wait for that.

I personally think you should get a PPS-43 first, especially since Norse Armory has a proprietary bullet button designed and prototyped already for it, and is working on getting a great price for those of you in need. We'll be making a post in commercial deals later tonight/tomorrow about it, but *tentative (as in still working out details and shipping) price is looking to be around $549 plus tax and DRoS. That gets you the pistol, one single shot sled, and 3 10/36 mags, and includes middle man fees if we need to use one.

As for a PPsH-41, just let us know what you want and we'll discuss price with you, takes about 10-15 business days to get parts, and about 4-6 weeks for build time, depending on current backup .

Edit: We also ship to your local FFL for a small amount as well .
My posts are my own opinion and reflect no official positions of anyone other than myself.

Sweet I didn't know you guys were a manufacturer too. That's an 07 right?
I will definitely be getting in touch with you guys probably around mid-april since that's when I will be treating myself to a birthday present! I think I'm leaning more toward ppsh-41

disagree. 7.62x25 is an awesome round. it is cheap and is almost considered armour piercing.

There's a few more hurdles to clear for the PPS-43, but we're really good jumpers, look for the thread in the coming week or so, and for the pistols to start showing up in ...TWO WEEKS!! Kidding kidding, probably about 2 months or so, if not sooner. mdouglas1980, stop on by, we'll hook you up with a good deal on that TT-33 you want, everyone in the shop loves it when someone orders one 'cause we get to drool over it .
