I'm not sure how much you can really save by ordering online.

Ammo prices online have increased just as much. By the time you add shipping and total it up, it's pretty much the same as what you'd pay locally - especially with shipping costs also going up due to rising gas prices.

Lastly, by buying locally you support your local businesses, which is a good thing.

Sometimes I do order online, usually when there is an exceptional deal or something that is harder to find locally.

In the summer I like to go to Reed's in San Jose when they have their big summer sale and buy ammo by the caseload to stock up for the year. Prices are decent, selection is good, and they get the business.

Even 22LR is expensive. Well, compared to how it was a couple years ago. Who would have ever thought that a 100 round box of CCI Mini-Mag would bring over $7.00? I'd never believe it, until I actually saw it.

This thread is kind of funny, because this website caters to Californians. I'm guessing the ammo prices in ALL of our areas are out of hand.
Well, the fact is that politicians don't get votes via logic, but an emotional public. Work 'em up, throw out some platitudes, get the votes.

IF you can even find any.
I have a hard time even getting it.
And God said \"taketh your rifles, all of ye, all but those unto the nation of California, for exempt must their rifles be and the resth are forlorn.\" So sayth the Lord.
