Just Havin' a Little Fun - Georgia Style

    Hello all,

I am new to the site. I thought this might be a good way to introduce myself. Here is a shooting video we put together while having a little fun on a farm in Georgia.

Mark Wills (shooting in the camo pants) produced the song in the video. I hope you like it...

VERY nice video and a catchy tune too!
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently and die gallantly. Specialization is for insects. ~ Heinlein

Damn I miss Georgia, I was at Benning for a while and when my wife came out to visit she fell in love with it too. We always talk about moving out there one of these days. Love the land, Love the people.

Great video, and welcome to the board!

            Welcome Jerry to Calguns!

Along time ago someone told me all the FA AR stuff is available in GA? Is that true or not? Probably alot easier to get Class 3 items in GA, cause it's pretty much impossible to get those thing here in CA.

I can't imagine ever shooting in an area that green and pretty! In CA, if it's that green - it's a GOLF COURSE!

Reminds me of being back in Texas...

No BBQ, but in Georgia we do pork. I used to Live in Lubbock, TX when I attended Texas Tech University. I was born in Memphis, TN so I love pork BBQ. In Memphis, cole slaw on your BBQ poor boy sandwich is standard.

When I moved to Texas, 90% of the BBQ was beef. When I finally found a pork BBQ restaurant, I ordered cole slaw on my sandwich. They looked at me like I was crazy. They also charged me extra for the cole slaw.

Other than that, Texas is alright by me.

                        Thanks again....

By the way, I am an Engineer and I served as Project Manager (Heery International) for the design and construction of the Ranger Regimental Headquarters Facilities at Fort Benning. I am currently getting my gear together for 3-gun competition at Ft. Benning.

There is very stiff competition at Ft. Benning while having to compete against the US Army Marksmanship Unit.

I'm not sure what you mean by FA?

You can get a Class 3 license in Georgia if you can get a Sheriff to vouch for you. They typically shy away from this. The cool thing about Class 3 license regulations in Georgia is that you can get a Class 3 license by incorporating yourself and forming your own company. You can then obtain a Class 3 license under your company name.
