    Real vs SoftAir

Is there any obvious features to look for softair gun aside from the orange muzzle compare to a real gun?

Bill: Pie Mei taught you the five-point-palm exploding heart technique?
    Beatrix: Off course he did.
Bill: Why didn't you tell me?
    Beatrix: I don't know, because I'm a bad person.

Are you trying to identify real vs airsoft in pictures or in person? Because pictures can be quite deceiving sometimes but in person its quite simple. Just open up the action and you will have your answer.

That would be in pictures. The reason I ask because of this one Guy full of BS that shows its pictures with his guns that they all look like soft air.

what type of gun is he showing? if its an AR and he hasnt dropped a ton of money on them you could probably tell by trademarks or the overall look of quality. most high end airsoft items are quite nicely made and have (illegal) correct trademarks so unless he posts pictures of the inside of the muzzle or magazines you're pretty much SOL

If the angle allows you to look inside the barrel, you can tell if you see some small barrel inside of the larger barrel

Or for stupid inconsistencies such as a SOCOM Suppressor threaded on an AR -_-;; Sometimes if you look real closely, you'll see Made in Japan on the Tokyo Marui AEG's. I've been out of the game for a while though, so don't know if this still remains true.

However, if the airsoft player wants to emulate an operator to the T, you won't be able to tell, as they'll be using pricey upgrades or real accessories to satisfy their need for "authenticity". They will even limit loading 30 BB's in their mags to simulate "realism".

The pictures are posted on Facebook I will see if I can copy it and yes there mostly AR's. That's what makes me think that they are softair because all of them are taken with muzzle pointing down and some have suppressor on them.

Save the relevant pictures in My Documents and upload them to photobook. It's just a matter of copy and paste from there.

If they look any close to a "real suppressor" (the few famous brand names), that's almost a dead give away.... since the chance of any non-LEO or non-active-military getting a "suppressor" is close to nil..... except those working in the movie industry or those working for a few very excluded companies like Surefire....

definitely airsoft :T looks like a china-made flashlight and a standard dimpled suppressor with a battery crane stock. vest is also standard cheap paintball/blackhawk/eagle clone plus protective goggles and the protective face mask.
