10 day wait is killing me

Hey everyone im pretty new to the forum, been lurking for a while, but anyways i just bought my first handgun, and this 10 day wait is killing me... Im on day 3, and i cant wait to take the gun to the range and try it out. So any advice on how to cope with these 7 days of anticipation.

I hate the wait too ... but I hate the wait between waits more so ... can't get to the next fix soon enough ... if all goes as planned I should be dros'ing a Mark III Hunter soon...

ehhh im kinda embarrassed cause i dont know if i spent to much on it, or not. anyways i got a really old 1911 off of gunbroker. i guess i'll add some more pics when i pick it up, but this is the pic that the seller posted. i figure as long as it doesnt blow up on me when i shoot it i'll be happy >_>
