CWS has been nothing but good to me. They are a mom and pop outfit that works very hard to get product out as soon as they can. When I first found out about the OLL situation, they were one of the places that I called for info. Hector took time out from what sounded like a party in the background (I called on a sunday) to explain all the laws and regulations regarding OLLs and how the process worked. Try getting that kind of service out of a huge corporation.

The best way to communicate with them seems to be via email. They have been very responsive to my questions on a recent order and have kept me up to date on the status of it every step along the way..

Thanks for answering many questions, that new customers bring up.....

We are a very BIG but small company........

We sell and ship more BR than 3 of the smaller manufactures combined....
We exceed sales on most of the dealers on ARFCOM by 5 fold.....

We are busy......plus the ATF and CAL DOJ keeps us busy...w/ suprise visits...and letters.......

But we are committed to provide you guys w/ product, this takes $$$$ and buying power......plus lots of legal representation

We have major players calling us and they want to provide new things for CALIFORNIA......this take more $$$, more legal representation....etc....

Did I mention we are busy........we really luv dealing w/ people and making you guys happy...

I've spent 20 years protecting this country and what it represents.....FREEDOM!!!!
I've been to about every country on the GLOBE.....the US is the best.....

Sometimes we just run out of stuff and eventhough we've already ordered it....it takes 8-12 weeks for it to get to us.....we will get you what you want....sometimes it requires some waiting on your part....we try very hard to keep the website updated but sometimes we don't make it.......

Why do we do gunshows eventhough it eats up a lot of time.....cause about 30-40 percent of the guys are first time buyers....we are increasing numbers in CALI at every show.....the more, the better in the long run.....

Plus we are out there on the front lines......showing dealers that it's okay to sell and xfer OLL....

We GREATLY appreciate your business.....it's more than just $$$$, just wait and see.....what we have coming down the road.....

CWS fights every step of the way for your rights in CALIFORNIA.....

      Sincerely,
      Hector and Michelle....

Since then - nothing. It's now 4 days later and I have not heard anything. When I log in to check my order status it still says "Processing", which is the same status as Monday.
Crazy, bold in your message was added by me...you issue hinges on the fact that someone's got your money, won't ship an in-stock part, AND DOESN'T SEEM TO HAVE THE TIME TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU. I'd be a little pi$$ed too.

If the issue was that you're credit card was not charged, I'd say 'sit back, give 'em 10 days, and see what happens'.

NO excuse if your cc was billed. How can you ignore an existing customer just because you're on the road. If a company has time to bill a cc, they have time to put your stuff in a box & ship it. Billing without shipment may indicate cash flow issues.

The mom/pop/homey nature that some of us have with suppliers is ok; though often some of us have a problem with separating business from the relationship.

        Good luck.

You're not treating 'every customer like gold' if you charge their credit card and not ship product. No issue with a slow reply, as long as card is debited at time of shipment. If you can't respond to this guy 'just not w/in minutes or a day or two of his order', why couldn't you have waited to take his money?? Difficult concept??

Maybe try re-reading my post, this time a little slower.

Plus....not that it makes much difference but when you are shipping out hundreds of packages per week, we can't instantly run someones card............

                All I can say is:
They could have not even come on this thread and let it die.
They are a small company dealing with huge demands.
I will be their next customer when funds allow.

Dude. No. Just no. You've been here a while and should know better. And it's not your problem or credence to continue this gripe in any way, shape, or form.

With so many wild, weird, and crazy crap that gets reported here about what dealers do and not do, where other dealers commit to bad service that IS intentional, this incident was such a small explainable one, and of technology in the mix, a hiccup, which was handled and corrected so easily, it needs no superfluous extrapolation.

It's clear how this was a website issue. Drop it. Every time I have dealt with CWS I HAVE been treated like GOLD!!!!!

Whoa, what happened to this thread?

Gents - no reason for hostility or arguments.

                    1. My original post was simply an inquiry about CWS and their order process since this was my first order with them.

                    2. They responded very promptly to my email with the tracking info on Friday.

                    3. The order arrived very timely and was exactly what I wanted. I'm very happy with it and will order from them again. Thanx, CWS.

                    4. The credit card issue is a moot point because a) the order turned out to be shipped already on the 7th, they just hadn't updated the order status yet. and b) they probably just authorized the transaction to hold the funds but didn't finish the transaction until it shipped. This is apparently common practice according to my wife who works for an online payment processing company and has an amazing knowledge about the online payment industry.

So, please put yer pants back on, it's all good

                    Carry on...

You can do no better than CWS, I buy a lot of stuff and they are the best so far. I can spend my money wherever I want, it usually goes no further than CWS. There is not a company working harder at getting Californians what we want. They support this site monetarily and they know who their customer is.

                      Michelle and Hector. Kudos!
