    Just got my NV CCW

    Took about 5 weeks. Sweet. Gotta say NV's process is very easy and everyone was cool down at their bureau.

      non-resident ccw? did you have to pick it up in person or was it mailed? it varies by county no?

          Would like to know the steps needed for a non resident to get it if possible. Thanks.

              Go take an 8 hour class, qualify with your carry gun, go to bureau the next day, wait for permit in the mail.

              I did mine @ the Gun Store.

                                  Since I will be CCW yes. Unless I get caught. Then I will comply with any requests.

                                  We stayed at the Monte Carlo last time, and I carried the XD in it's case and didn't get a second look.

                                          Being "caught" would imply doing something wrong, isnt it legal to carry concealed if you have the permit? Just watch out for North Las Vegas!

                                              Not illegal, but some casinos have a no weapons policy, but if they don't see it they can't pitch a fit can they?

                                                  Is the class something you can take in CA or do you have to go to NV to take it and then somewhere else to do turn in paperwork?

                                                          No NV state laws requires you to receive the 8hr training class in NV. And to do all needed paperwork there also.
