Online ammo sales in CA?

I haven't purchased ammo online for a while and was wondering if it's even allowed anymore. Can anyone tell me if it's still legal and suggest any sites to buy .45/.357?

AB962 only applies to pistol ammo. Order your pistol ammo now. Rifle ammo will not be restricted, but you can expect the vendors to be confused and restrict that too, at least until they figure stuff out.

Otherwise, online ammo purchases are gtg, though if you are in the city of SF some ammo vendors will not sell to you.

Where is the line drawn on rifle ammo anyway? IIRC, doesn't CA classify 7.62x39 as pistol ammo?

Yes it is still legal until Feb 2011, but you have to check the site's shipping policy that you're buying from. Some won't ship to certain counties within California.
