American Ammo .45acp any good???

I am about to buy 500 - 1000rds of American Ammo, (A-merc), in 45acp. The total copper jacket 230gr ball variety. I just want to know if it is decent ammo, junk, etc. How does it stack up against other brands, etc. I would hate to buy this stuff and be greatly dissapointed. On the flip side, if it is kosher stuff then I'll buy lots more. It will be used for the range.

glock has a specific waring about a-merc 40, i wouldnt trust their 45 either.

I've heard nothing but bad things about American Ammo.

I hear bad issues with the American Ammo. Mostly with Glock stating not to feed any through their handguns. Did shoot some a shooter had at one of the range runs, cycled OK in my old Colt 1911 Gov. Model.... didn't want to run in through my Kimbers.

Over on the AmBack forums.. there was a lot of bad reports on the
A-Merc M1 Carbine ammo as well

and from personal experience.. their 45LC ammo is bad as well

Their original marketing slogan, "A SQUIB IN EVERY BOX!", was a really bad idea.

Their new slogan, "NOW 98% SQUIB FREE!!!", seems to be working a little better for them.

the glock issue wasnt about feeding, it was about overpressure situations.

I have a Sig 220 that would have a FTF 1 every magazine. Weird because the Sig would feed a tube of lipstick. Stay away!!!!
