Tikka Owners: Don't Hope for Hogue Stock

I own a Tikka T3 Varmint and I've been hoping and praying for a Hogue stock for ages. Sadly today, I received this email back from Hogue.

We appreciate the offer but I don't think we'll ever make a stock for the Tikka. If there is anything else I can do for you please let me know
Dreams have been shattered. I don't really have the need or desire to own more than one .308 bolt action (for now), and I love my Tikka dearly... so I'm pretty much torn for now. Other Tikka stocks I've seen out there run for a lot and don't even fit the style I want. So... sticking with the OG stock for now and hoping for better days ahead.

Doesn't Macmillan make a stock for the T3 action?
New and Reloaded Ammunition for sale!

If I wanted ridiculous sloppy action, top loading w/ no mags and inaccuracy out of the box, I sure would have...

I hear you on the aftermarket front though, I really do. Maybe I'll try and pic up a used 700 and turn it into my new baby one of these days...

Probably because they know there isn't a market. The factory Tikka stock is much better than a Hogue. I'm no fan of the rubberband wonder.

                  I guess so sholling...

Mmmmm I love the Hogue rubber stocks! The Tikka stock is just so slippy to me, doesn't feel very solid. Maybe I can fashion some rubber grips to it or something.

get some of the sand paper they use on shower floors to keep you from slipping. fialry medium-light grit and have an adhesive on the back already.

and to each their own on the actions. .50moa is good enough for me.
