    Collecting Glocks

So I have decided to collect 1 variation of every one of Glocks 23 models. Not including the 18. I will post pictures later of the ones I have, and post new pictures as new ones are added.

Here is what I have to begin with:

    17, 19, 30

    I have a 35, 27 and 31 in 10 day jail.

    The ones I still need:

    17L, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 32, 33, 34, 36, 37, 38 and 39.

I think this will be fun, and I will need your help finding a few, especially the .380s for ppt!

I think it would be fun to do. Then after it is done I will have the whole collection.

Why don't you just collect uppers, the frames are the same.
Oh the 380's will be next to impossible to find, they cannot be imported into the US. They do not get enough points for importation.

Are you gonna try to find some of the factroy odd ball calibers? Glock made 9X23mm for some agency that operated in a country where military calibers were banned.

It isnt craziness!!! Dont you collect anything!?! Maybe I can get an 18 when I retire and move somewhere that you can actually get the tax stamp for it.

I thought the 380s could be ordered for LEOs? My friend is a Police and says he has one (though I havent seen it, but dont think he would lie about it). Ill just have to find them already here and willing to sell.

I am not starting out looking for oddball ones, but if I came across one you know Id be dumb enough to buy it!!

That will be worth a lot less than what you paid for it. You may want to collect something that may appreciate in value rather than drop 30%. Just a thought.

Currently collecting unemployment checks, so yes I do collect things. I also have kids and they take priority for funds.

Yes LEO's can obtain 380 glocks, don't know why though. You might want to look up some info about some of the special runs of Glock guns. Some even have officers names and badge #'s engraved into the slides.

Let him do what he wants.
Most my stuff depreciated but every time I open my garage, I get a huge smile on my face and that's all that matters to me.

I am already a Colt collector and have lots of things that appreciate in value. Glocks is something different to do. I am not going to buy any of them new, and I will only buy used ones at what I consider a good price. I am not doing it as an investment I am doing it for FUN!!! (I lied, Im going to Turners right now to buy a brand new 37 for 399)

And, dont anyone worry about my kids, they will be fed, sheltered and clothed as my first priority. Now since I have lost alot of weight, do I need new clothes that fit, or just a smaller belt and another gun? hmmm. Ill wait until my lame diet is over to buy a new pair of jeans.

Glocks have been users to me, but whatever floats your boat.

The G25's are very difficult to come by due to their LEO sales only status. If you can find one for a PPT in California, go buy a lottery ticket too.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

If you have $9-$10K lying around then go for it.

I'm collecting all the Glock FoTays and have a G24 waiting for me at my local shop...all I need is a G22 in OD Green and I'm DONE!!!!
