    Monterey Area FFL's?

Hey all.....can anyone recommend an FFL somewhere near Monterey? Or do you guys in that area just usually take a drive to the south bay?

Friend of a friend has had some security issues and is ready to buy a gun. She's looking for a Glock 17 or Glock 19. TIA for any info.

Markley's will have the best selection and the best price. Ashmore does not sell new guns and as of last week he had no used Glocks. Hunter's Supply is closed on Sunday and Markley's is closed on Tues & Wed. Outdoor World in Monterey lost its FFL but Capitola still has one. They got first dibs on all the good guns anyway. They sometimes have an ok selection but prices can be outrageous. If you go there, tell them you went to the Monterey store first and that they told you to come there and they will give you a $25 gift certificate. Even with that Markley's prices are better though.

What were you planning on using them for? PPT's? If so, Markley's will not touch any black rifles or OLL's of any type. Outdoor World in Capitola (another 6 miles) will do PPT's on OLL's and are very fast. It is a camping store, and the firearms section is usually empty... Done many 10 minute PPT's there...
