    Load-Out for President's Day @ the Range (Updated)

    I just love the Holidays!!!

    The night before:



    Just arrived at the range:



    Everything laid out:



    Empty SUV (finally!)...



    Many thanks to djleisure for the Draco inspiration...this thing was a BLAST to shoot!!! We were consistently hitting my LaRue Sniper target at 85 yds w/ the irons. Awesome, it wasn't the "novelty" gun that I thought it was going to be, but was a pleasure to shoot...easily the most fun we had that day.

    Can't wait to get a red dot mounted!!!

              Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

              I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

                  It's now sportin' the Springfield Armory sling, swivels, scope mount, and an aftermarket 2.5x20 scope...I had to fill all those empty spots in the floating case!

                              I see plenty of rifle cleaning in your future.

                              What time do you hit the range with that much stuff, at the crack of dawn?

                              Need range pics to prove your not just going through the motions the night before onlt to sleep in Monday morning, and afternoon.

                                  ^^ plus about 8 pistols if there is only 1 pistol per handgun case.

                                  even if i ever get that many guns... there is no way i would bring all that to the range at once.... the cleaning aftermath would be horrendous. my limit is 3

                                      We get out there right @ dawn and we're staying until after sunset to get some low-light/night shooting in...we'll be out there a good 12 hours...good times!
