just got back from the range and after every few magazines the slide doesnt lock back after the magazine is empty. just came home and broke it down to clean found that the recoil spring was loose and shift up quite a bit. can that be the reason why the slide doesnt lock back i sure hope so. thanks

In my experience it has always been the magazine....

Sometimes with the Glock magazines, the mag will not push up the slide release lever after the last shot...while others will.
