    Oh, it's a $75.00 fine all right, it's the other added "costs" that they include to fund their various other concerns.
    The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

            Not well-advised... but legal.
            The way open carry is being pushed by a lot of these groups, there will soon be no reason to carry since all businesses and public places will prohibit on their premises.

            I realize this a hot topic and there are many passionate folks who believe that open carry is the ultimate way to excercize your 2A rights, but 25 guys walking into a Peet's coffee in San Ramon on a Saturday morning filled with soccer moms and kids right before soccer games all packing, is not going to shed any positive press for gun ownership as far as I am concerned.

            Frankly, if I was there with my family, I would be concerned too. It can be difficult to make a judgement on ones intentions when they have guns on them. Many gun owners lack some real common sense in my opinion.
