CAA AK47 mag coupler w/ tapco question

I bought a CAA (Command Arms Accesories) 2 piece magazive coupler for AK47 magazines part number AK47MC. I bought it specifically for my tapco mags but it either doesn't fit (tactical supply said it would) or I am doing something wrong. I looked all over the interwebs to try to find any link or even picture with this installed on a mag and I couldn't find one.



The basic questions are does anyone own one of these? Anyone use them with Tapco mags? Are these for the steel mags only?

I know the bases on the tapco mags are wider than the standard AK mags.
Have you tried staggering them?

Otherwise, think you were mis-informed. Anyways, tapco mags are okay, you should get some original commie bloc stuff.
