    Ok whats the difference between Ruger P85 and P89

    Ok heres a Ruger question

    I know the P85 is the early model and the P89 is the later model. But what is the difference between them besides the name/number change. I read up and I cant see much difference if any. I know the 85s had some sort of recall
    Other than that the pistols look pretty much identical

          The P85 had a press fit, two piece barrel. Sometimes the barrel would "crawl" forward out of the locking block/chamber during firing.

              Mine is a one piece barrel
