Any thoughts on gas piston AR-15?

It's the "new" hot thing.
Colt played with it back in the 1960s and determined it didn't have that much advantage of direct-impingment.
Then H&K stuffed the G36 gas-piston system into a M4 Carbine and called it the HK416.
It gain some acceptance in the Spec Ops community, so every manufacture jumped on the gas-piston AR bandwagon.
If I had a need to go with a gas-piston AR, I would lead towards the LMT, LWRC or Addax Tactical gas-pistons.sigpic

Addax makes a good product. I was amazed at how much cleaner it ran than my other AR's.Comment

Allows you to shoot a more with less cleaning. Not sure if I'm jumping on the piston bandwagon.sigpic
