    Fully auto in California history

Anyone around back when fully auto was legal in California? What was it like back then? Did guys just go up to Burro Canyon with tommy guns and M16s and light the place up? When did fully auto in California get banned?

NFA firearms were effectively banned by Roberti-Roos, which took effect, June 1st, 1989.

Yup. As long as your local CLEO was willing to sign you off or if you were incorporated and wouldn't require it.
