Post Here! Costa Mesa Gun Show ammo prices

Would be there right now, but have to go to work in a little bit. If people could post the going ammo prices for new, reloads, variety of calibers, miwall, other vendors, whatever, (I am most interested in .40, .45, and various rifle milsurp, but don't stop there) it would greatly help me and others planning on a Sunday visit, prepare ourselves for how much poorer we are going to be after tomorrow!

I would love to know what spam cans of 7.62 x 54r are going for.
It has been cheaper to just buy online.

I am thru with it for awhile...
      14 dollars a head....
      a##holes and elbows.
      pushing your way thru.
      Over priced.

Miwall had 9mm reloads (from Police Academy, I think) 500 rounds in an ammo can for $75
I bought 300 rounds of 9mm PMC Bronze for $65.70 and 400 rounds of American Eagle 22 LR for $15.95

1000 rounds PMC 45ACP for $402.36 includes tax

LAX range had WWB 500 rounds $200 (unsure if pre-tax)?

If you're looking for Miwall reloads in 9mm (179.99 for 1000 I think) or 45 ACP...forget about it. I heard it went in the first few hours. 45 was scarce.

They had Winchester 147 gr. Encapsulated $99 for 500. PMC 223 for $300/1000. I know Miwall had some .40 reloads still left, but I would suggest you get there early if you want to nab it. .30 carbine ammo was I want to say ~120 for 250 rnds of their reloads. I don't remember what the price for the 7.62x54 was but they do have it.

next time park on the north side parking lot off of the fair drive entrance. free swap-meet parking. i cant believe they are trying to sell parking when its free right around the corner in the same parking lot!

i found my large pistol primers finally, so i guess it was worth it for me. joined NRA again and didnt have to wait in the ticket line.

Pmc 223 was better then retail but average at gunshows from what I hear

Yes, I'd rather walk a few extra minutes and spend that 5 bucks on gun stuff

Attitude from Miwall was free! I will never buy ammo from them again, have been buying less and less but have been buyinbg from them since the late 1990's.

I don't "cry" about parking or anything else, I feel $14 plus parking is excessive for the show so I minimize my costs one way and get exercise by parking farther away and walking. An inconvenience but worth it.

The gun show has run its course as ammo is plentiful as are reloading components. Sure you can find some deals, but you can find more deals more consistantly on Calguns and its free parking.
