    Gun value help

Got a chance to pick up a Winchester model 54 in 30-30
gun looks to be in great condition. Any ideas as to the value?

Seen a few prices on gun broker for over 1 grand

Few question. It seems to have been made in the 30's. Is this a C & R?

    Cash & carry?
    Thanks. I'll post picks tomorrow

    cant find it on 30-30

To answer your question in short, Yes, its Cash and Carry. You can even ship it to someone.

The M54 was made from mid 20's to mid 30's .....the next Win model was the M70. Your m54 will go for over 1000 if it is in very good to ex original condition and not drilled for a scope. Key word "original". All bets are off if refinished. If you have the first 3 digits of the serial # I can look-up the year.

And, the M54 was made in 30-30
