Private sale from out of state

I need some info from those who have already done this. I live in DE and want to sell a private handgun to someone in California. What are the requirements, paperwork I need to go through? Can I just ship directly to an FFL in CA? Any help will be much appreciated.

As long as the gun is on the Roster(http://certguns.doj.ca.gov/), all you need is to ship it to his FFL, they will probably want a copy of your DL in the box.

If the buyers FFL wont accept a transfer from an individual, then you need to find an FFL to ship for you that is set up to deal with the CFLC ,http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/cflcoverview.php.

The CFLC is only required if the firearm is being shipped by an FFL, it is not needed for an individual send a gun.

    EDIT---

If the gun is not on the Roster, the buyer will not be able to receive it unless they are LEO.
I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

    and

If you're in a survival movie and the hot blond twists her ankle and can't walk, you damn well figure a way to carry her. If it's a dude, you shake his hand and say "best of luck".
