    distance conversion question

    if you have a 6" target (human figure) how many yards out do you put the target so it'll be a 6' target at 100 yards through a scope? (Scope is a 3x-9x power) Im too lazy to calculate it out, so mathmaticians help?

    Put your target at 25 feet or 8.33 yards to simulate 6' target @ 100 yards.

    Don't forget to factor in the bullet trajectory.

        (6 in)/X = (72 in)/(100 yd)

        X=6/72*100=8.3 yards

        As Einstein has shown that it takes infinite energy to accelerate a mass to the speed of light, Obama AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE will demonstrate that it takes infinite money to attain utopia
