This is from the DOJ Handgun Safety Certificate manual. It's a handgun "rule" Last night I thought it was funny they can't count, but this morning I'm more concerned the people wrote this have no clue about handguns, whatsoever. Where have I been, I know. . . .
While I can see STORING ammo and guns separately, STORAGE, as in you own many guns and only the one (or seven) you keep loaded in case the bad guys come a crashing through the door should be locked and loaded.
This sort of rule will (probably already has happened) get the less informed among gun owners killed.
"6. Store your handgun safely and securely to prevent unauthorized use.
Handguns and ammunition should be stored separately."
When will someone sue the state over this? Yeah, Heller kind of made this sort of thing tough to enforce, but when will our state change?
I know, I know . . . never.
