    Vallejo Gunshow This Weekend

Just wanted to say hello to my Calguns customers and remind them of the upcoming Code of the West gunshow this weekend in Vallejo at the Solano County Fairgrounds. I have added some new calibers to my inventory; .22 LR, 22 Magnum, 25 Auto and 32 Auto. I look forward to seeing you all this weekend so make sure and stop by and say hello. I talked to the promoter last week and he said that the show is sold out so this should be a great show. See you there and thanks again for your great support.

How does this show match up to cow palace show? I've never attended solanos couty code of the west show? What will I mostly find there?

It's less than half the size of the CP but I really like this show as there is a wide variety of vendors with a good selection of gun related items. I think it's $10 to get in but it is money well spent.

No comparison. The Vallejo show actually has guns! Don't go there if you are not looking for guns (or truely gun related items)

The Cow Pie is the place to go for jerky, back exams, and bed sheets. I will never go there again.

Yes, half the size of building, but ten times the amount of guns and gun related items. Since Chuck at Contra Costa Collectible firearms went out business and stopped going to the Cow Palace, you won't see hardly any guns since he had about half of the entire shows inventory just on his tables.

The Cow Palace has a lot of tables spread way out with isles you can put two lanes of traffic in. Not really that big if you were to throw out the NON-Gun items and stuff it all into a building the size of Vallejo.

Vallejo often has another patio area open too when they sell enough tables.

How much is parking? I am thinking about going early on Sat to pick up some ammo, and some goodies for when my Glock comes home.

5 bucks for parking, they stop collecting about an hour before the show closes. If you're cheap, park in the holiday inn hotel next to fairgrounds and take the 5 minute walk

Unfortunately I'll have to agree the Vallejo has more gun related stuff than Cow Palace judging by the last show.....

                      I'll be there to spend money I don't have......:P

I would park at the Holiday Inn but I tend to have bad luck with stuff like that at big events. My car ends up getting towed out of the tons of others. One time my car got towed at a hotel I was staying at, even after I registered it with the front desk.

I will be there. Looking to build my first AR. I am looking for a stripped lower from Calguns (bear or state engraving) or a JD lower.

If there is another event such as RV/Motorhome or computer show etc, tell the parking attendants you are going to that. Unsually no charge for parking for those shows.
