    Upsidedown silhouette targets?

Does anybody know why some people at indoor ranges hang a silhouette target upside down? Mostly seen on youtube vids at full auto rental ranges.

I've heard they do that so if the shooter aims for the head they won't end up shooting the ceiling or hanging devices if they can't control the muzzle.

the range usually sets it this way not the shooter.when most folks shoot full auto for the first the muzzle tends to rise upwards and they shoot into the ceiling.to avoid this hang the target upside down so the shooter aims lower to stay on target versus rightside up.also they`ll tell you to shoot in controlled bursts instead of holding the trigger down till you empty the magazine.

that makes 110% sense. Nothing worse then a lane getting closed because someone nailed the hanger Walking in and seeing 2 of the 5 lanes in a small place closed because of it totally sucks.

Ha, that's a perfect idea, "Full Auto Target", FAT for short.
The maximum effective range of an excuse is zero meters.
