Ammo question: What/where do you store your ammo?

My safe is getting crowded, and I was thinking of buying a smaller safe just for the ammo. Maybe an old jewelry safe, or even just a steel cabinet.

What/where do you store your ammunition?

KNAACK 139 60" x 30" x 57" JobMaster Cabinet, works great and easy to keep locked. And with severl cases of ammo in it, no one is gong to carry it off.

I have a Craftsman cabinet that is about 20 years old, orignally sold as a "Gun Safe" before CA had the DOJ set forth certain minimum requirements. This cabinet has 3, 1" bolts, and is fireproof up to 1/2 hour, and is about 22" wide, 18" deep and 5' high. I put most all of my boxed ammo in there and some gun parts.

My odd ball calibers and enough ammo for a few dozen mag reloads of my self defense calibers, if the need be arises, are in the main (big) safe and the third safe. And one mouse gun and box of ammo in the "bedroom" safe.

I have a big oak roll-top desk at home with a locking file drawer that is extra deep. Files in the front, ammo in the back.
The desk takes 3 men to lift it.
The guns are stored in a safe, in a closet, in a different room, and bolted to the floor.

Thank your neighbor and fellow gun owners for passing Prop 63. For that gun control is a winning legislative agenda.

                          Pacific Ocean.

Boxes & cans in the closet, loaded mags in the cabinet.
There are a few hiding spots in the house I can use but odds are I would forget it's there and someone else will find them years from now.

The garage was getting too full, so I built a little lean to out back.
