Was it still possible to buy and sell Class III firearms (full auto) like M-16's and AK's even though the semi-auto version was banned (in a sense)? I know on the semi's you could get around the whole evil feature thing, but could you still transfer Class III's with evil features?

You could still buy and sell firearms with evil features...period. Only the manufacture was prohibited. That's why pre-bans commanded a higher price.

Assault Weapons--as defined under the Fed AWB--and high capacity magazines, made before September 14, 1994 could still be bought and sold by individuals and dealers.

The commerce in Class III firearms was not affected

The 1994 AWB had nothing to do with NFA weapons (Not to be called Class 3 weapons PLEASE) the only thing that is called class 3 is the (SOT) Special Occupational Taxpayer) dealer that sells NFA Weapons or TITLE 2 weapons.

The laws that control Title 2 weapons were the GCA68 and the May 19 1986 law.
