Middleman FFLs?

Guys I'm looking for a middleman FFL. Who is the most reliable/best? I did some searches but everything that I found was over a year old.

Forgive my ignorance, but what makes an FFL a 'middleman FFL'?

One that can ship firearms that some of the the FFLs in other states don't want to ship to California.

You buy, then have it shipped to middleman FFL who in turn ships to your local FFL. If a bullet button needs to be added, the middleman does that so the item is California compliant. You pay $s for this service.
