    Hello all fellow members and gun owners, i am building my first ar and i am looking for a inexpensive ar upper, i like flat top style and would like a 20" barrel. i would like flip up sights because im gonna mount a scope and would not use the sights that much, does anybody have any uppers laying around you would like to sale or at least where to find what i am looking for for an inexpencive price ???
    Is that the way you want your mother to remember you !!!!!

    Welcome, first of all. Second, where are you located? That way we can direct you to some local shops and their inventory (inventory/make varies by store).

    CMMG uppers run cheap. That's a start.

      You can check out Del-Ton, They have 20" flat top uppers, base model for like $416.00 shipped.. Hopefully they have caught up on there backlog and won't take so long to ship now...

        CMMG and Stag make great uppers for the price. However, my (insisted) recommendation goes to BCM. Though a bit pricier, you get a top of the line upper for not much more.

        Made by Bravo Company MFG, Inc. (BCM) These Barreled Upper Receiver Groups are designed for shooting professionals with the Mil-Spec features.


        Add a BCG and a charging handle, handguards, and a flip up sight of your choice and you're looking at a top of the line upper for ~$600.
