    Gun Ranges in Kern County

Is 5 dogs the only one in Kern County, that allows all firearms? Only gun range I have ever been to and would like to no if there are any others around here. Or any that are close?

    -Thanks.

In the Kern County area, yes...it is the only range that allow all firearms except for the obvious (50 BMG). BLM land is also good if you know how to read a map.

There's the 420 club on Old Alfred Harrell Hwy east of Bakersfield near the City College. LEOs and CHP are there during the week, I guess the public can use it on the weekends. I've never actually shot there, I've only ridden past it on my bicycle on my way to the park.
