Does anyone have any experience with the Vortex brand of scopes? How do they compare to Nightforce and the like?

For the price they are the absolute BEST out there. I've got the 16x one on my 50 and it's held up to it just fine. The glass is super clear, the turrets are easy to use, it looks good and their warranty and customer service are absolutely outstanding.
Try and find any other scope out there that has 100 moa of adjustment for both windage and elevation, that is clear and well made, and its not going to happen.
It isn't a nightforce but for 210 bucks, you can't beat it.
Go over to Primal Rights (primalrights.com) and order one up. If you have any questions, call Greg and he'll answer them all. Shipping is free from him too. Good stuff. -
Oh yea...and even though he only has the one listed on his website, he DOES carry the entire line. Just call him and ask. Helluva guy.
This is what I'm running on my 50. Lots of eye relief and a BUNCH of adjustment!

Scott over at Liberty Optics can set you up as well...and he's a CG vendor!
Mention you're a CG member and he'll take care of you...You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
Come on...what harm??

Love my Strikefire for my AR.
I'm buying the compact spotting scope next week and when I buy a bolt action I'm looking to mount one of their Telescopic sightsA mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly.

They have some in the 2k range...how do those compare? I have about $2k to spend on a nice optic...what's the best bang for the buck? I'm planning to use this to replace my Leupold and the farthest that I want to get to shooting is 1k yards. This will go on my Remington 700 in .308.Comment
