    Clever "fire Zumbo" Guerilla Tactic

(I saw this on another board.)

    FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

"Hey! ya know those inserts in magazines you open one while on the shi**er?

Take the ones for Outdoor life or any TIME Inc mag and a sharpie.

Write "Fire Zumbo first" on it and mail it in.

They are usually postage paid, soooooo....they get the point another way

and pay for it in the process!

I'm not suggesting that anyone do this, of course. It just thought the cleverness of the tactic might be of interest to some.

He's already been fired or had his sponsorship dropped from every gun related company he was doing business with.

Well, why don't let us all know who still employs him, and I'm sure everyone will get busy and see if we can remedy that...

          Gerber and Swarovski for starters.

Outdoor Life has not come out with a firing. Only pulled Zumbo 'for the time being'.

Also, Cabelas's has still not given him the axe. Still in 'wait and see, sit on the fence, see which way the wind blows' mode.
"Cabela’s Legal Department is currently reviewing contractual obligations and commitments regarding our sponsorship of the Jim Zumbo Outdoors television show."

It would be foolish to let up on the pressure now.

The message is not so much for Zumbo as this point.

The message is for others who may secretly harbor Zumbo-like anti-Second Amendment sentiments.

Why not attach a bald spare tire to the prepaid franking privilege and let them pay for up to 70 pounds of dis-satisfaction while you are at it.....

                More Elmer Fudds

Jim Zumbo is the only one who put his thoughts on a web site for the world to see. There are thousands of Elmer Fudds out there who think like Zumbo and agree with him that our semiautomatic rifles should be banned. The problem is these people won't help us stop antigun laws.

And after seeing how Zumbo was handled they never will help, nor even listen to why he was wrong.

                    Zumbo comment re;sponsors

Outdoor Life, a magazine that I worked for full-time as Hunting Editor for almost 30 years, fired me yesterday. My TV show was cancelled yesterday. Many of my sponsors have issued statements on their website to sever all relationships.

Well, the fact is that politicians don't get votes via logic, but an emotional public. Work 'em up, throw out some platitudes, get the votes.

Guys, you're wasting time on Zumbo.

Yes, it was bad, and his statements can help antigunners nationally.

We have a deeper and worse fight here - esp w/new idiotic ammo bills.

I wonder how many folks in this thread have *called* the CA legislators on the new ammo bills. Email is nice, fax is useful, but *calling* is king, esp at this date!

If you've been yakking about Zumbo and not doing anything else, you're just bloviating.

Cool, I had to look that word up. It's been awhile since I've seen a word that I didn't know the meaning of.
