Which firearm do you shoot the most?

Which one in your collection gets used at the range the most?

Mine would have to be my Ruger 22/45, shooting .22s are fun and cheap!

I usually bring my Service Rifle AR to the range to pop off at least 30 rounds in 200 yard standing for practice.

I also usually bring at least one Garand.

The gun I shoot the most is a pistol that I use for IPSC and steel. Average 20K per year through that little CZ-75.

total rounds through, probably the .17HMR, but since I got the Mosin, I have been shooting that far more.

My S&W 22A of course. Good practice for a low price. And though I fire the most rounds through that weapon, the weapon I spend the most time with is my 700P. Then again, that half mile walk to check my target does take up a bit of time

Lately, my Marlin 17 HMR. I whacked 3 ground squirrels the other day, and at 100 yards or less the results are awesome.

When I shot alot more, the .45 ACP and 9mm were favorites in handguns. The .223 was a favorite too.

1911's (TLE RLII and CDP II) see weekly use.

686 revolver and XD9 see monthly use.

                      1911 and the AR.

Although my last 2 range trips I used the newly-acquired .22 pistol a lot more than either of those.

I notice with the .22 I can really concentrate on proper trigger-pull technique (which I'm hoping will carry over into my .45 plate matches), and with the ammo being so cheap, it's like it's practically free compared to what it costs to shoot all of my other guns.

I make every attempt to cycle through all my guns and give them equal trigger time, but I shoot my beretta and my AR the most.

                        Why? 2 reasons:

                        (1) i found an amazing deal on ammo, and stocked up. like 6000 rounds for each. I have the most ammo for these two, and i know when i run out it won't be long for a good deal on both.

                        (2) as far as the AR goes, i can put a lot of rounds down range and still be able to use my shoulder the next day. The same can't be said for a lot of my other rifles (after about 50 rounds of 8mm mauser or 7.62x54R heavy ball, it starts to hurt)

I would shoot my SKS more, but chabot has that annoying little rule about only putting 2 rounds in the mag at a time...

My USP 9 usually does a lot of range time with me. Mostly because the closest indoor range is Targetmasters and they only allow pistols and Shotguns.

10/22, GLOCK 17 and OLL AR in that order.
